Week 3 - Time Management

Why should I manage my time?

The simple answer is that time management help you stay on top of your tasks and get more done.

                   Advantage of being organized

։ Reduce stress- We all try to kill two birds with one stone but odds are multitasking will actually just stress you out. When you don't have control of your time, it's easy to end up feeling rushed.

։ Self-discipline is valueble. When you practice good time management, you have no room for procrastination.

։ Less wasted time-   When you already list down what you need to do, time wasted with useless things diminished. Instead of thinking about what you should do next, you can already take any action to complete a task.

։ Build your confidence. For me, when I have done my task before the  due date, I got more confidence in study.

How to manage my time better

              ։ Recording

Keep track of the time in your day planner as the day progresses. Write down everything that you do. Carry it out from you waking up until you go back to sleep.

              ։ Analyze

At the end of the day go trough the schedule and highlight any chunks of time that you don't feel where used productively. Identify your 5 biggest time wasters in a day.

              ։ Change

                i. Prioritize- to do list

ii. Declutter- won't waste time digging around piles of stuff to find that one piece of paper that you really need

iii. Shedule- set aside blocks of your time for individual activities. Set  stop points for each activity
